About Alzheimer’s studies

What are the Alzheimer’s disease studies?

Alzheimer's disease (AD) studies are clinical research trials designed to look at investigational medications for people with AD. Currently, approved AD medications can only improve symptoms for a short amount of time. For some people, these medications will not work at all and/or they must be stopped because of negative side effects. So, it's critical to research potential new treatment options for people living with AD. A confirmed diagnosis of AD is not necessary to take part in this study.
